I am not watching the convention on TV because I do not ow a TV
BUT, I have listened to every speech
A few thoughts......Why viewership is down
Fires out west......
Hurricane in the aSoutheast
Not everyone can tolerate TV news channels and not everyone KNOWS it is on CSpan
People are fed up with BOTH parties
and those thoughts are the ones right off the top of my head
I ALSO think you SHOULD play some of the excerpts since your audience is huge and you may hit MANY thast did not watch the convention
The TV Commentators are enough to make ones head explode!

I think Mark needs actual viewer stats from CSPAN and maybe a few other online sites. I watched only on CSPAN and I’d bet a few million more did also.
I don’t doubt total viewership is down, but maybe significantly less than the network and cable stats indicate.
They also had more than one hour after 10pm IIRC.
Do people that view via live streaming on the internet get counted into the numbers of folks watching?? I have a hunch many did the livestream gig to also avoid the idiot commentators
Kinda off topic...but with all the idiocy on this site over the past many months, I doubt Mark even checks this thread anymore, unfortunately! And Im not one of those “call in” kinda gals ;-) so YOU do it :-)
Right before I puled the trigger, I realized there was no truth on any of the channels and every single station had its own agenda.
At the end, I would only watch the History channel until they went PC and globull warming - it was more than I could tald take.
It died a quick but horrible death and has never been replaced
Mark's so downbeat today I had to turn him off. My life is depressing enough.
I was thinking about that too. The main networks only carried it after 10 and I remember them carrying it for at least 2 hours in prime time 4 years ago. I also think people have more access to other channels on TV and the internet which is competition for the conventions.

The entire primary season was anticlimactic after Cain and Newt dropped out. By the time the primary finally took place in TX, we had no choices but Mitt and Ron Paul. The convention didn’t really offer much new or exciting.
If Mark is really all in to help defeat Obama, then today’s broadcast isn’t helping that cause. The time for this sort of nitpicking is after the election when we look to see what worked and what didn’t.
Sort of boring and depressing today.

One thing is certain, I WILL NOT watch the freak show next week. At least the RNC offered positive views of America.
