Rubio's gaffe...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqrYc7CVTzg
"Lets make sure they write that we did our part. That we chose more government instead of more freedom."
greatest speech of the night! Romney actually did a very good job also, and i was impressed by those that gave us a glimpse of romney’s compassion.
I could only think, what will barry counter with? will he tell us how he held the hand of a community organizer during an abortion?
or how he dried the eyes of a marxist while his pastor said “god damn america!”
yea, show his past. show his records. bring the fascists on to support him.
of course, he has no past, therefore he should have no future.
blessings bobo
My 2 cents
Whew! He really did say that - I thought I was hearing things!
Slip of the tongue in an otherwise awesome and well-delivered speech.
Called reverse psychology. Brilliant maneuver.
Yes indeed. Rubio was good, but Ryan was even better, more pointed and on target.
I would say the two best speeches of the convention were Ryan’s and ... Ann Romney(!) - “This man will not fail”.
I thought the same thing. “He’s no Paul Ryan”. For all the hype, and I like Rubio very much, his speech was good but not great, IMHO, and just showed that Romney made the right choice at this time. I certainly hope Mr. Rubio continues to rise and may yet someday lead our great nation.
It’s good to have a deep bench.
so he misspoke. i think his speech has excellent.]
blessing, bobo
No Akin treatment for Dream Act Rubio, eh. Rubio’s still great but Akin has to get out.
Agree. Perhaps Romney knows strength as some of us thought not. I see Ryan as President some day.
Hope he doesn't beat himself up over it.
He's a much better public speaker than I could ever hope to be.
Your comment is quite funny. I actually laughed out loud upon reading it.
Thanks.
When you’re 85 you can be excused from mixing things up now and then. Loved him!!
It was a great speech and he is a great American!
My hubby and I heard it. We were hoping that he would correct it. I was going to post it on the live thread; though had to leave. I am not certain but I think some of the people in the audience noticed it as well.
Bluto: Hey! What's all this laying around stuff? Why are you all still laying around here for?
Stork: What the hell are we supposed to do, ya moron? We're all expelled. There's nothing to fight for anymore.
D-Day: [to Bluto] Let it go. War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.
Bluto: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: [to Boon] Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
You know, I’ve been somewhat distrusting of Rubio. He’s come out with some things that make me think RINO and such.
And I’m gonna ahead and say this because I’m an honest guy. I’m a little leary of hispanic politicians at this time. They all seem to be pushing for a goal that I’m generally against in some sort of amnesty. There’s a pretty good chance I won’t vote for someone if they are hispanic for this reason. I’m not ashamed ot say it, it’s the truth.
However, after seeing Rubio speak tonight, I believe I know what’s in his heart, and that is love for America. I could see and and I could feel it. He loves freedom, and so do I.
I support Marco Rubio now. I believe he is a good man. He is a future leader, no doubt.
I have to agree.
I hat is off to Marco Rubio.
It sounded like a mistake to me; I wondered, however, if it may have been a description of the Obama regime.
