I tuned in after Clint had begun, and at first I had no clue what was going on. He was sort of stammering and didn’t seem to make sense - then after a bit the camera panned out and I saw the empty chair, just as Clint was “talking” to it. Then the light went on. Once I knew what he was doing it made sense, and was quite funny and even charming. He made strong points, and stuck some humor in there too.

I liked it. It’s weird though, to think of Clint Eastwood as being elderly.

I did like most of the “speech”, including the comments to the empty chair. A really unique way to share his humor and viewpoint.

He made strong points, and stuck some humor in there too...I was a bit concerned when he did the "no I can't tell Mr. Romney to do that to himself" bit - seemed sort of tasteless and demeaning to the nominee - but then he brought it back around "no, I can't do that to myself either" which seemed to resolve the problem, and I thought his closing in bringing everybody into the inevitable "make my day" was great.......
