He earned combination MBA plus JD degrees; a very demanding program, and finished high in his class.
It is designed for somebody in business, who will need excellent legal knowledge for contracts, mergers, etc.
I doubt he has practiced law for even one day.
Romney got his law degree, passed the bar and was licensed to practice law by the state of Michigan the following year.
