Some thought Condi might be angling for Sec. of Education but it sure looks like Jeb wants the job; looks like Romney won't be eliminating the Dept. of Education. /s

GHW wanted to be the "education president" and W gave us "No Child Left Behind." There's clearly a familial theme.

Of those speakers I've seen, the Jeb segment was the first that smacked of tokenism.

Romney’s a big-time, big-government technocrat—as long as he’s the one crafting the solutions.

His campaign web site has been making bizarrely big promises of giving every kid good schools and good teachers to go to, without in any way identifying how he would do that.
