Newt typically keeps Callista around (or maybe it’s vica-verca).
I have his (excellent) DVD on Pope JP2’s trip in 1979 to Poland: “9 Days that Changed the World”. Every once in a while, in the midst of real and authentic Polish freedom fighters recounting their stories, both Newt and Callista beam down overdressed from Planet Washington DC and give some stale commentary.
I _like_ Newt, and I even voted for him in the CA Primary (after he dropped out). But when you put him and Callista together, they’re like some kind of alien life forms who’ve taken over some vaguely human bodies.....
That was pretty much a flyby from the Gingriches.
I bought their RWR video and book. I know I bought one about JP2, but I gave it to my husband, DrO and I can’t remember watching it with him. I must do that.
I supported and I voted for Newt, too.
