TAMPA, Fla. - Longtime evangelical leader Ralph Reed has begun work on a massive effort to push 1.7 million Christian voters to the polls for Mitt Romney, a campaign he predicts will "change the outcome of this election."

Reed spelled out his grassroots effort before conservatives gathered at the Republican National Convention. Citing statistics that some nine million evangelical and eight million Catholics did not vote in 2008, Reed said his group the Faith & Freedom Coalition will soon start targeting voters in Colorado, Iowa, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Florida and Virginia.

” Citing statistics that some nine million evangelical and eight million Catholics did not vote in 2008, “

Hard to vote for McCain, when he himself was campaigning for Obama.

Don't bother with me Ralph; I don't vote for abortionists, gun grabbers, supporters of socialized medicine, or supporters of the fag agenda; even if they do have an "R" after their name.

I also won't vote for a Mormon, or a Muslim, or a Hindu, or....to make this list shorter let's just say if it isn't Protestant or Catholic - no.

Elections are to vote for representatives; ie someone that represents your values.

It is not an excuse to vote for the lesser of two evils. Nor, is it a reason to vote for someone that trashes your values and completely thumbs their nose at you.

Myth, the GOP-E picked you; let's see if their votes are enough to elect you.

Wasn’t ol’ Ralph involved in some scandal a few years back, or am I mistaken?

As for all these “grass roots” groups springing up, they are as welcome as weeds. Let me guess.. Ralph’s group will send out URGENT emails asking you to sign some petition and send a pre-written email to your senators and representative. Oh, and by the way, please send a generous donation to support the vital work the group does.

I’ve had it. All these various think tanks and issue organizations are a scam. They are ticks that live off donations and don’t accomplish anything. A pox on them all!
