To a lot of people, it’s just fine for a white gal to date/marry a black guy. The reverse is frowned upon as a number of black guys feel the white guy has a slave, vs a trophy wife.

Maybe with the older generation..See my post above...most people in my age group today don't care. I knew plenty of guys in HS/college who dated black women and this was never brought up or thought of.

And the number of white guys dating/marrying black women is growing...getting fairly common.

Surely you know why -- you partially answered the question yourself when you said:

Racial difference/disparity/"oppression" is one of the central philosophies of socialism (err, I mean the Democrat Party). If it isn't kept alive and well by being thrust into every facet of life, they know they will lose a huge chunk of support.
