A buddy of mine was a technical security officer for the state department based in Moscow. He had to fly out to Vladivostok to certify the systems in the Consulate there. He told me that it was such an awful flight that he rode back to Moscow on the Siberian Express train.

International Aeroflot isn't so bad. I've heard they have new planes, since I last flew them about 1998, where the major problem was being seated next to a smelly drunk Russian and getting Russian food.
Now, domestic Areoflot flights are another story, and are much more of a thrill.
