Yes, the video is edited, and there is no audio either.
However, I have seen other situations where the 'motorist' acted like a punk, called the cop names, tore up the ticket, and the officer kept calm while dealing with it.
The result to VIOLENCE as a 'first response' followed by the FIST-BUMP to indicate their ANIMAL DOMINANCE over a female shows that the LAPD seems to be adopting the tactics of the DREGS of SOCIETY instead of staying above it. And that is a shame.
Oh, I’m so relieved he’s ok, thanks.
I assume everything is edited for content - don't you? The goal for much of the MSM is to create a narrative and maintain that narrative as long as possible. Is this a new concept for you?
But you tell me - when you look at the video (short as it is), is not the footage more or less smooth - but then both times, it skips just at the point where she is being thrown down.
It may be nothing - or it may be everything...
Well.... you see... here’s the problem. These cops (in LA) just aren’t used to this kind of treatment. Everyone knows that LA contains only MORAL, LAW ABIDING AMERICAN CITIZENS who never, ever, talk back to the police, or lie to them.
The officers in this incident can’t be blamed, as they went into shock upon hearing the words that came from the woman’s mouth. I mean terrible words.... like “I’m late now for work”, and “I had to answer, it was my child”, or “you’re going to give me a ticket for being on my cell phone?” and “I’m gonna call my lawyer”.
I was not specific enough, you seem to be assuming that the video was edited for content in order to conceal the truth of the matter. OK. I can’t quarrel too much with that.
Still gonna have to provide a lot of additional evidence that a 5’4” skinny little handcuffed thing like the perp (victim?) warranted the 2nd body slam.
Even without the additional footage, and the fact there was no audio, I agree.
WHY they went overboard is the question. I think it has more to do with abuse of Steroids and a lowering of standards during hiring.
I think it is also important to note that these Officers are merely a REFLECTION of SOCIETY.
When a person goes into a state of VIOLENCE, the only color they see is RED.
The key is ... WHO acquired and has control of the original footage (which was from a nearby security cam and NOT POLICE CRUISER footage)?
That would go a long way toward answering the questions you ask.
It's very simple - regardless, she didn't warrant the 2nd slam.
However, when it seems obvious that the video was edited (without any apparent explanation or disclaimer), it makes me cautious that they might be trying to play our emotions.
please pardon my ebonics...
They have all virtually morphed into mere tax collection specialists and they have goals ya know. As the IRS grows too, and the TSA is getting trained to be super Swat teams; the cultivated crowd control minions in law enforcement are relegated to tossing down little girls to make themselves feel like men.
A pox on the house of charade they are anymore. I get a phone call with a “report” number that means diddly when we get violated so I understand your experience well. Meanwhile, the car going down the street not using his blinker to change lanes in the open is pulled over like it’s the most criminal thing that ever happened. Of course, the real criminals walk freely because we don’t want to “offend” stereotypes.
I remember seeing an episode of “COPS” a few years ago. In the episode, a cop pulled over a woman for a traffic violation. It was night-time, and the woman was a nurse who was trying to get to her job at a local hospital.
The cop let the nurse, in scrubs, go without giving her a ticket. After the woman drove off, the cop told the camera that he would rarely if ever give a ticket to a nurse. His reasoning was that if he is ever injured or wounded in the line of duty, he doesn’t want to have a nurse treating him who is angry because he gave her a ticket or didn’t cut her some slack.
Since the LAPD is reacting to this case with unsual speed, I have to wonder if Chief Beck is worried that nurses in general are going to be pi$$ed off with LAPD cops as a group if he doesn’t take strong action against the two patrolmen and those who supervise these individuals.
"Lives on the line" my a$$. An illegal alien tree-trimmer is 17 times more likely to die on the job than a police officer.
Unionized California cops don't take risks without backup any more. That's why there was more than one officer for a routine traffic stop. There was one of her and more than one of them. They're multiple armed man against a single woman showing no sign of a weapon. Gosh, such a risk! "We" can't be too careful" you know.
They did it because they could, because their "department procedures" allowed it, because that's what "officer safety" has come to mean when the term is subject to contract negotiations.
That is true of every person who gets onto a freeway. This is a result of unionized "officer safety" brainwashing.
The reporter ended with ‘and shes considering a civil lawsuit’.
My first and immeadiate out-loud reaction: “$100 million, their houses, and their lives”
Ah, yes, the report numbers...
And completely about the “diversity,” here too.
Yeah, but we don't know what he said to the officer before he did this. He might have called him a bad name. No one should comment until ALL the facts are in.

“That is true of every person who gets onto a freeway. This is a result of unionized “officer safety” brainwashing.”
In Orange County there have been several incidents where officers have:
Shot to death, a teenaged girl with a knife in a schoolground. Huntington Beach
Beat an unarmed, known mentally ill man to death. Fullerton
Shot an unarmed off duty US Marine to death in the HS parking lot. San Clemente
I personally believe the “standard procedures and methods” need some improvements.
For example non-lethal weapons are NOT NEW, but seem to rarely get used.
There always seems to be a story like “we saw something dark in his hand” so they unloaded until empty, then found out it was a radio, or something else.
I think the cops beat Rodney King beyond what was necessary, and it shows in this video the cops tackled the lady to the ground was outrageous, noticing the “high five.”
Yes, those are the weak people who will give in to a strong authority, even if they are wrong. Very unamerican!
She abused the government! It all just simply all went to the ground, while the big bad blond female abused them.
Amazing...
