I visited Yellowstone last summer and we wound our way back east going south on 89 out of the park and come down through the Great Divide Basin to catch I80 east. That is some seriously desolate country. An easterner unawares could be in a world of hurt even in good weather if stranded there. Much respect.
We hope all who come for a visit get the same impression so they will go home.
We only have 500,000 in the state. We like it like that.
