Retired law enforcement is excepted. Once Brown signs this, Californians will not be able to carry openly even unloaded guns, and will only be able to carry concealed if a chief law enforcement officer is willing to allow them to do so, at his whim.

I visited Yellowstone last summer and we wound our way back east going south on 89 out of the park and come down through the Great Divide Basin to catch I80 east. That is some seriously desolate country. An easterner unawares could be in a world of hurt even in good weather if stranded there. Much respect.

Someone needs to bring a class action civil rights law suit against California for these abridgments of the 2nd Amendment

What happens in California soon comes to the rest of the country. What happens in California soon comes to the rest of the country libtard states.
Please don't count states like AZ, AK, WY, TX, among other as following CA.

What part of
"the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed" do these communists in Kommiefornia not understand?
Isn't it about time for the tar and feathers?

"One of the reasons I left Mexicalifornistan." It is sort of perversely fascinating to watch this state descend in its death-spiral.
At this late stage, with it's myriad of problems (of which this is just one), I don't see any good ending for California. Seeing the approaching cliff, that state's 'leaders' only step harder on the accelerator.

After communism fails and it returns to some sort of primeval state, it might be a good place for smart people (conservatives) to colonize.

And of course state actors and even those with the glow of having been state actors at one time get BETTER treatment than those who pay their salaries and pensions, rather than WORSE treatment as they should have logically assumed when they took the job. D'oh!

Oh, to hell with the weather and the scenery. I'm so tired of that refrain. I'd rather live in a desert with my freedoms intact.

The shotgun needs to be LOADED! Been to the liberal decimated CA cities recently?

Seeing the approaching cliff, that state's 'leaders' only step harder on the accelerator. They expect The Won to come through and build a federal bridge to utopia (with your tax dollars) at the last minute.
Their thought is: If GM is too big to fail, California is way to big to fail!
To: marktwain
"They expect The Won to come through and build a federal bridge to utopia (with your tax dollars) at the last minute." Of that, good sir, I have no doubt.
However, seeing as the FedGov is just as broke as Kali is, I have a feeling that these unwashed hordes are in for a very big disappointment.
