I used to see trucks in the Brooklyn Navy Yard with a Corie insignia on the cab door, making deliveries, back when I worked there.
I assumed then that you "cursed the life" you were living, and that you cursed your poverty, and wished you could be...Richard Corie?

I was only 23 and engaged to be married. The poverty came later.
