Well, your point is well founded, but if it is the difference of me flying down to get stuck in a possible storm to listen to people talk, or me going to work and feeding my family, then it's not even a question.
However, when it comes to taking up arms and fighting for freedom, you let me know where to be and what time and I'm there.
Feeding my family, and fighting to protect my family are two different things, with a completely different set of priorities for me.

I do not fault you in the least about wanting to provide for your family. General Washington and two big problems, getting material and supplies from the Continental Congress and keeping men in the ranks when it was harvest time. Even the various legislatures complained about members going home to perform the duties necessary to keep the farms going.
My point is a general one, stating that we as a people do not have the guts or determination to become a little uncomfortable in order to press forward a belief. The Romneyville is a perfect example. If those against Romney/Republicans/Conservatives actually had a deep feeling about it, there would be thousands at the camp, instead we have 150-180 and most of those are there for free food, etc.
It is a sorry state of affairs and has deep implications for our country's survival as a democratic government.
