Hmmm, that’s a backhanded defense of men, if I ever heard one.

“Hmmm, that’s a backhanded defense of men, if I ever heard one.”

George Gilder once wrote that when men aren’t kept at home, and at their familial responsibilites by women, they have a tendency to join warrior societies, like the Spartan hoplites, or mercenary armies, or gangs.

When warrior societies are unrestrained by other, stronger warrior societies, they rape and pillage at will, and it’s the women who are among the first victims.

As Titus Pullo said in the miniseries “Rome” “....kill my enemy, take his gold, enjoy his women.”
