That’s fine, because the RNC will never get a dime from me.

Have it your way you little snit! You’ll not get another dime from me. I think it’s time for a third party. The Republican Party started out as a third party. I think it’s time to give the GOPe the boot.

He is putting party power and political games ahead of the good of the country.

Gee, imagine that!

Reince has learned well from the DNC!

Exit quotation from a Missouri delegate: “I don’t trust the system to find someone to replace him.”

That expresses the feelings of a lot of the GOP. Those who think that the replacement would be Brunner or Steelman are only kidding themselves.

Why is it so hard to understand that Akin has mortally wounded himself from a political sense.

Any one who understands politics a little knows that come Oct 1 that Missouri senate race is going to be 10 or more plus for McCaskill over this clown and not 47-47 or some other sort of tie.

Priebus is right not to throw good money away and make to the GOP as a whole a even bigger target. Better to spend the money electing other GOP senate hope fulls like in CT or WIS than for Akin.

The teaparty has just got to learn that some people are complete jerks (Angle and Odonnell come to mind) and should not be nominated. We lost seats in 2010 because of of stupid candidates and we have to suffer Reid as a result.

There are competent and outstanding teaparty candidates such as Ron Johnson but the teaparty has to know the difference between competence and incompetence.

Akin should pull out, but it appears he is to arrogant to.

T^odd, Please drop out... maybe in 4 years you can run again. If you don’t - and you lose - you will never be able to run.

I would like to give Akin a good slap.

However, if I'm reconciled to voting for Romney, I'll probably watch Akin and see if he really wants to win. Then I'll donate to him.

He was a jerk, should have stepped down, but I'm not liking the arrogance of the Beltway GOP.

BS.

Rasmussen now has Akin down 10 versus up 10 before his career ending gaffe.

Hey bozo, if you or any of your lackeys are reading this site, do the honorable thing and get out, and let some conservative with a chance run.

If you don't and we lose the senate by one vote this debacle will have the blood of it on your hands.

Did the establishment Republicans order a “Code Red” on the Akin campaign?

Are establishment Republicans trying to dismantle the Todd Akin for U.S. Senate Campaign from the inside? According to operatives, inside the Akin campaign, the Missouri GOP and the National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) have contacted several Akin campaign insiders with direct threats and offers of better-paying positions, in other campaigns, in exchange for abandoning the congressman’s campaign.

August 29, 2012 Inhofe: GOP will take Senate, including Missouri
“I believe it is going to happen,” Inhofe said of the possibility the GOP will take the Senate this cycle. “I know a lot of people have said Missouri was a setback, but I think we are still going to pull off Missouri. I do.”

Snip...“I think we will end up taking over the Senate and having two seats to spare,” Inhofe asserted.

Oh, Akin will get the money. The source won't be announced loudly, but it'll still come in.

The GOP-e, the NuGOP, are a bunch of scardy cats.

If they would have gotten out in front of this in the beginning and say there was nothing wrong with Akin’s statement except his choice of words the problem would have lessened.

Then when the dems complained, they could hang on them that they support false claims of rape.

His thinking was to make it known that a lot of women will cry rape after concentual sex for a number of reasons.

One is because they could be in a relationship, had consentual sex, and cried rape to their boyfriend/husband so he wouldn’t know she was cheating.

That being said, the republicans would always prefer a leftist liberal to win over a conservative.

Especially if he/she is a dreaded member of the TPM!

They love it when a Conservative candidate messes up so they can act like democrats and throw him/her under the bus.

“If we give him any funds, the Democrats will tie us to him and that’ll hurt the ticket”? For one thing, the Democrats are already tying Akin to the ticket; I saw a photoshopped bumper sticker online the other day that read “Romney/Ryan/Akin.”

If we, True Conservatives, give the Republican party any funds, democrats will tie us true conservatives to them and that will hurt us. We could see a bumper sticker say Republicans/ True Conservatives

We don’t want to be tied to them after their name has been trashed so badly.

I think since the Republican party has been ruined and could NEVER win. We true conservatives should leave so we are not smeared by association.
