Go into the public RR with your minor kids or grandkids.Because they have to learn to go out into the world, step by step. When I send my grandkids into the restroom I stand outside by the door and they know to yell for help if needed.

To be honest, it all depends on the characteristics of each local community, how close knit and conservative it is. Yes, pervs like this are everywhere in society, they always have been, but are held in check by local values.
