I have actually never read the Posse Commitatus act so I could be wrong. Anyway it has not prevented Presidents from using the military as police inside the country.
Eisenhower used Federal Troops to integrate Central High in Little Rock, and Truman had the Army take over the trains, Also Reagan had military air controllers take over air traffic control.
I suspect some of it was illegal but like I say, I am not an expert on that law.
Thats actually a good point...But Reagan placed the military air controllers in a non-law-enforcement role...
In my opinion that was a good move...Tillwe could get a civilian contingent in place...
But with all this “integration” of forces...I would have to ask the blunt and direct question...
“For what?”
And sit back and enjoy the BS that we all know will follow, if they try to answer that question...
What are they afraid of???
Which we already know tha answer to that as well...
