I’ve had this nagging thought in the back of my head for a while now - that the GOP is not interested in winning an election. Their candidates - Dole, Bush, McLame and now Romney have all been one step away from blowing the election. Bush was an accomplished debator, yet look at his performance vs. Kerry in the debates.
If the GOP doesn’t want Conservatives, fine. This is exactly what happened to the Whigs. And history has a way of repeating itself. They won’t get my money and Romney doesn’t get my vote. You see, principles DO matter.
I do not believe the elite want to win this election either. They simply seem to want to destroy conservatives. They behave like communist operatives.
