All of us need to tell Obama how happy we are as parents to have our girls sterilized without our permission. We need to tell him how happy we will be to have those bills come especially when the surgery is botched and our girl is in a casket.

Funny you should mention this. I’ve noticed a few girls (18-20) on my Facebook account who have recently posted about getting their tubes tied. Came out of nowhere. Can’t tell if they are serious or just joking (my hunch is the latter), but I’ve never seen girls this young even considering such a thing before.

More likely is that a doctor could convince the girl to be put on persistent endocrine disruptors: patches, implants and injectable hormones which will shut down their healthy female physiological functioning for a month, three months, a year, longer (depending on the number and size of the implants.) The parents themselves might want this. It's happening already: (chemically) spayed girls, barely adolescent, whose parents thereater don't give a flip about their integrity of body or soul --- as long as they don't become pregnant --- and are more or less content to have them casually violated by anybody who comes along, or stumble through their teen years as sexual spittoons.
