At least that is the comment of those atheists who say that Judeo-Christian morality is useless in the world and at best ‘redundant’ because people are innately kind and gentle.

Just had that discussion with an atheist acquaintance friend the other night. Where does your sense of right and wrong come from I asked. 'Oh I just know it'..... Just look back through history at all those benevolent atheistic societies and cultures....

Thank you. And the reason your friend “just knows it” is because he was raised in a society whose ethics and morality was based upon the tenanats of Judeo-Christainity. I wonder if any atheists ever thought of that? The society that they condemn as ‘bigoted and biased’ is the one that gives them the freedom to dissent and believe as they do. Of course we see the benevolence of their toleration everyday in the political discourse fromt the left.
