Limbaugh lamented a recent Pew study that found 52-percent of middle class adults said a second Obama term would help the middle class, saying that it is demoralizing and shows that what a good job the news media and the education system have done in dumbing down the country.
Despite his lamentations, however, Limbaugh took an optimistic outlook, saying that he refuses to fall prey to attempts to demoralize and dispirit everybody.
I think that the country could survive four more years of Obama, he said. But I dont believe the country can survive in a country full of people who would re-elect him.
We can handle Obama, but I dont know what we can do about a majority of people who would re-elect the guy, the host clarified. Limbaugh made the case that Obama is going for the moron vote, and he believes that the Democrats have calculated that there a majority of morons that are going to vote, and theyre going to win them.
Obamas voters, Limbaugh contends, only care whether a candidates policies will cause an interruption with what [government handouts] theyre getting.
Biden is the poster boy for the moron vote, the host continued. Weve got a guy here just as moronic as you are, just as stupid as you are, and look at him, hes the vice president.

Yup, a strong Ameria would weather obastard (for example if he was imposed on us by outside forces) easily. But the rot evident in a population that would vote for obastard TWICE is terminal. Actually, just the rot evidenced by voting for obastard once may be terminal -- we'll have to wait and see.
I’ve wondered about this in prior postings here. Rush Limbaugh puts a different spin on it, that the nation could survive Obama himself, but not survive the people who vote for him. Isn’t that like the chicken and the egg question? It’s amazing that Obama is even viable at this point. I take comfort in the 1980 election, when nearly all the undecideds broke for Ronald Reagan in the last week of the campaign. This time, Republicans are stuck with an uninspiring nominee, but maybe circumstances will force him to govern more conservatively than he had planned.

Well, I cannot disagree with you Rush, but I must add that the GOP cannot continue to exist that would pick Romney to lead the ticket. I find it horrific that he could do so well and easily. People voting Democrat are intrisically “morons.” However, when Republicans vote like “morons” and pick Romney...then things are even worse than what you say Rush. I expect more from Republicans. Although I mostly blame the GOP establishment....rank and file Republicans that go along with their nonsense must share the blame.
I am really ready for a third party that is fully socially conservative, fiscally conservative, and national security conservative. No leg should go unsupported. The current GOP is too concentrated on the fiscal leg and the stool doesn’t stand right anymore. The “platform” says one thing, but the candidates do other than what it says. The GOP is becoming passe and a new party of FULL conservatives is needed. All three legs standing.
Rush is way off base. America is the people that occupy it both legal and illegal, leftist rightist and twits in the middle. An America that re-elects this arrogant moron is beyond repair.
True. And 2014 would be the year the Republicans take over Congress bigger than the Democrats in 2006.
Remember the Democrats took over Congress in 2006 because they convinced Americans that 5.5% unemployment was too awful to sustain.
At this time, Mitt Romney is the only realistic chance at getting rid of Obama, and I voted against Romney in the primary. We should concentrate on the state and local races, electing TEA Party candidates in every safe Republican district that we can. Obama is by far the bigger threat. I think that Romney is a lukewarm stuffed shirt who is indifferent to non-fiscal issues rather than a committed liberal. His selection of Paul Ryan is a good sign.
saying that it is demoralizing and shows that what a good job the news media and the education system have done in dumbing down the country.
That says it all!!! To think that this race should even be close is absurd. Couple this with an uneducated, gullible, third world invasion and the prospects for this country are bleak.
“Cicero always remembered his roots.”
Interesting point.
Would survive? Not likely.
Limbaugh is getting mellow.... according to liberally biased MSM taking half a comment out of context
Rush, four more years means the implementation of Obamacare. There is no coming back from that.
Another way to put it is this:
We have to defeat Obama to save the country. But if Obama is re-elected, the country is already lost.
Vote for Mitt , after all , his wife said he irons his own shirts , does the laundry , and shops at Costco !
Not to mention the Supreme Court picks he’d be certain to have . Limbaugh is losing it .
He is right. Obama is only a symptom. The problem is that America has become like an old Oak that is rotten in the center. The thin outside of living tissue is working harder and harder to hold up the tree but eventually it will give out and the whole tree will come crashing down. I feel terrible saying that about this country but I think it is true.
Well, Europe survived WWII, but that doesn’t polish 0bama up any.
We have to defeat Obama to save the country. But if Obama is re-elected, the country is already lost.
Well said. Say it again:
Reelecting Obama will be proof that the country is lost.
Obama's defeat will mean we still have a chance.
A third party with 1/3 of the numbers in congress could make deals to vote with the republicans. But only if the republicans act like conservatives.
