The UN is treated as being near God, excepting its membership is largely OIC members. All Africa knows this.

This was drummed in my head, too, in school in the fifties and sixties (in the US). No one even dreamed of criticizing the UN. We were taught instead about the "Ugly American", the hated US citizens,
The point is that I came to understand ON MY OWN several years later, how bad the UN really was. I learned this without a teacher, simply by observing the actual results of UN actions. Someone as dumb as Obama simply does not have the intellectual capacity to learn this.
