I am praying the Bamby looses in a landslide of historic proportions!
D+6
...unfortunately this poll oversamples Whites +7
...and undersamples Blacks -6
Yes, remember in 2004 in a good economy most undecideds broke for Kerry in the last week. Bush’s lead was cut from around 3-5% to 1-2%. In 1996 Dole outperformed all the polls by taking undecideds. In 1980 Reagan took a close race in the polls and won in a landslide.
“Have you seen any Obama bumperstickers, yard signs, billboards or anything similar?”
...the ground game is where it’s won or lost. Obama stickers seem to have faded away here in central Virginia. Loads of Romney stickers. When I do see an Obama sticker I know I’m looking directly at the enemy. By this time, you can only call yourself an America hating communist if you still sport one. No more “golly! I had no idea” BS.
I live in looney liberal Los Angeles, so here Obama unfortunately has it in the bag, but I have noticed that I haven’t seen as many Obama signs and stickers as I used to. In fact, there was this Obama sign in front of someone’s house that I used to see every single time I would go visit my sister, every single week I would go by and there it would be(And I would gag every time I saw it) today, I went to go visit her and the sign was gone! Could it have been stolen, not likely because this is LA, no one is going to steal an Obama sign here..maybe the owner finally felt some shame displaying that scum bag’s sign, at least I hope so
“Obama stickers seem to have faded away here in central VA”
I`m not seeing nearly as many here in Hampton Roads either. Ever since that great rally in Nofolk, many more Romney stickers are popping up.
I live in NYC - zilch. No Obama gear anywhere.
65-35 would not only send a dose of Clorox to Washington, but it might convince Democrats to become an American party again.
Go to DU. By the way, it will be a very significant Romney win-—5 points.
Great news both in the presidential race and senate, and offsets that idiot Akin.
Muzzie vote, black vote, and the dependent vote.
Yes....and even if Mitt can’t get MI he should get WI. Either way Obama has to spend a lot of money in these 2 mid-western states that he never planned to.
Muslims only make up about 1% of the Michigan population so they’re fairly insignificant.
Over all Michigan is trending republican and has been for quite a while. It wasn’t a wide margin of victory for Kerry in 04 but 08 was a whole different ball game with lots of idiots voting for the first black president. In 2010 the republicans ran the table on the democrats.
I would have loved to see Doc Steele throw his hat in this ring, but he is running for U of M Regent.
I have been saying for 2 years after an Outdoor Xmas get-together in "Detwaa" where she go booed ( no I didn't, I was to busy trying to stay warm !) on stage, that she was beatable.
Again the trend is our friend and unless Oboingo pulls a rabbit out of his hat he is toast.
Again I say watch Michigan, it will be where the action is!
I went on a date in Chicago last weekend, I did not see one 0 sticker, not one and I was looking. It seems that their enthusiasm is down, my friend who lives in the city has noticed it too. There were much more 4 years ago around this time, but I couldn't even spot one.
The only real enthusiasm for Baraq is from the media.
