"If Romney wins, there is no resistance."

THAT isn't going to be true at all. Romney will face the most conservative Congress (House and Senate) we have had in almost two decades. THAT will indeed be heavy 'resistance.'

“If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare, and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands; they may appoint teachers in every State, county and parish and pay them out of their public treasury; they may take into their own hands the education of children, establishing in like manner schools throughout the Union; they may assume the provision of the poor; they may undertake the regulation of all roads other than post-roads; in short, every thing, from the highest object of state legislation down to the most minute object of police, would be thrown under the power of Congress. Were the power of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for, it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature of the limited Government established by the people of America.”

— James Madison, Speech on the Cod Fishery Bill, Feb. 7, 1792

“It would reduce the whole instrument to a single phrase, that of instituting a Congress with power to do whatever would be for the good of the United States; and as they would be the sole judges of the good or evil, it would be also a power to do whatever evil they please. Certainly no such universal power was meant to be given them. It [the Constitution] was intended to lace them up straightly within the enumerated powers and those without which, as means, these powers could not be carried into effect.”

— Thomas Jefferson, Opinion on a National Bank, 1791

“This balance between the National and State governments ought to be dwelt on with peculiar attention, as it is of the utmost importance. It forms a double security to the people. If one encroaches on their rights they will find a powerful protection in the other. Indeed, they will both be prevented from overpassing their constitutional limits by a certain rivalship, which will ever subsist between them.”

— Alexander Hamilton, speech to the New York Ratifying Convention, 1788

“What is to be the consequence, in case the Congress shall misconstrue this part [the necessary and proper clause] of the Constitution and exercise powers not warranted by its true meaning, I answer the same as if they should misconstrue or enlarge any other power vested in them ... the success of the usurpation will depend on the executive and judiciary departments, which are to expound and give effect to the legislative acts; and in a last resort a remedy must be obtained from the people, who can by the elections of more faithful representatives, annul the acts of the usurpers.”

— James Madison, Federalist No. 44, 1788

“The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”

—James Madison, Federalist No. 47

“I acknowledge, in the ordinary course of government, that the exposition of the laws and Constitution devolves upon the judicial. But I beg to know upon what principle it can be contended that any one department draws from the Constitution greater powers than another in marking out the limits of the powers of the several departments.”

— James Madison, 1789

—>>>Romney helped put this current idiot in the White House. His campaign started the rumors about Sara Palin being a diva and not qualified. His hope was to be able to run in 4 years. He got his wish and we got Obama. It is no wonder she can hardly say his name without gagging.

Not that deserves a real amen.

RomneyCare is constitutional by virtue of the “numerous and indefinite” powers reserved to the States via the 10th Amendment to the Constitution.

ObamaCare is unconstitutional because it overreaches the limited federal powers enumerated in Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution.

” - - - Vote for Romney so there still IS a NEXT TIME!!!! “

Or, have the delegates ABSTAIN on their first ballot vote, and then vote Ryan in as the Republican Nominee with Allen West as his Veep.

Otherwise we will have to IMPEACH either Obama or Romney in early 2013, because we can’t afford either one of them.

I don’t like it, You don’t like it but that’s What MA wanted.

CA is AFU too but it is allowed and legal.

What is not legal is for them to make Texas foot the bill.

“Romney is far from the perfect candidate. But he is a patriotic American who LOVES AMERICA!!”

Romney is a soulless, pathetic little man who hates you on a personal level when you refuse to believe his near constant stream of lies. Check out Mitt’s behavior to Bret Bair of Fox after their “weird” interview, and how Brett described his behavior afterwards. Watch some You Tube videos of Mittens, and you will fine one where, after getting called out for a blatant lie, after the press conference he goes full blown passive aggressive on the reporter who spoke up.
Review how Romney’s campaign attempted to destroy Palin, even to the eve of the 2008 election, so they could have a chance at the White House in 2012.

I don’t think many of you really comprehend how narcissistic and depraved Mitt Romney truly is. It takes a special type of sickness to lie as often as he does, and then still find time to be caught praying at the wailing wall or singing God Bless America.

“By then Obama will have BANKRUPTED America,”

CLUE TIME. Under Romney’s proposed plan we’ll still go bankrupt, because he is NOT telling the truth about medicare and social security. It is BANKRUPT already. It cannot be sustained. Even if they do Paul Ryan’s budget plan, that is 30 years away... and 30 years away based on voodoo expectations of 2 percent unemployment and GDP growth that, for the last few decades, has been purely driven by government spending and not REAL growth. Meanwhile, he is planning to CEMENT the “good parts” of ObamaCare, including subsidizing insurance and making sure all the poooor sick people can never be denied coverage.

“RomneyCare is constitutional by virtue of the “numerous and indefinite” powers reserved to the States via the 10th Amendment to the Constitution.”

And the constitution of MA grants no powers to the state government to force individuals to buy health insurance as a requirement for living. They cite, at best, the taxation powers of the state.

Only if the people have granted such powers to the states via their constitutions.

But even then there are serious questions about whether or not such extreme state socialism is in keeping with the Constitution’s guarantee that each state will have a republican form of government.

Is government control over every aspect of our lives compatible with republican self-government?

SCOTUS said that Dred Scott was not entitled to protection under the Constitution, SCOTUS said that prayer in the public schools was unconstitutional. SCOTUS said eminent domain can be used by the state to seize private property and turn it over to another private party.

Do you think THOSE things were constitutional??

Clearly YOU have not read the Constitution. Read the Tenth Amendment.

And ObamaCare is NOT constitutional. I see you agree with Kagen, Soto-Mayor, Bader-Ginsburg, Breyer, and Roberts. You DISAGREE with Thomas, Scalia, Alitto and even KENNEDY?? What kind of Conservative ARE you? I think you are a troll. I am arguing with a liberal here.

Vote for Romney Bush so there still IS a NEXT TIME!!!!

You guys come out of the woodwork every year around this time and get all Rah Rah for the G.O.P.

Sorry but they got my loyalty for 7 Presidential Elections in a row. I was proud to vote for Reagan twice. And that is the last time I was proud to vote in a Presidential Election for a candidate I believed in.

No more. I've done my time toeing the line. I'll vote in the primaries for the best candidate for the job even if I have to write him in. But I will not vote for a candidate again just because he has an "R" next to his name.

“Romney is a “habitual liar”, he need’s God’s grace in his
soul there’s the other problem, Mormons are not Christian.”

And THERE you have it. A religious BIGOT puts his BIGOTRY before America.

So you oppose Romney because he is a MORMON??? Suppose he was a conservative Jew???

Ridiculous!!

Right now they’re in Extortion-Care quick sand along with everyone else.

And therefore it is up to the residents of Massachusetts to take action if they so choose, to overturn it or accept it. It appears that they want it. Which is also their right as residents of that state.

What half of the pie are you getting? Obama would build a giant statue of Lenin on the White House and Romney wouldn't. The one piece of Obama legislation that is the most unpopular, and Romney is doubling down on it. I am not asking for 100%. I was only asking for 10%. And Romney said no. If he can't even disagree with Obama on the thing that the entire conservative world, moderate world, and some Dems were against. He won't even make the slightest concession towards nonleftism.

Again, why are you blaming me for this? Why don't you direct criticism of Romney's actions towards Romney. He's the one giving the middle finger to all the voters in the 2010 election. Not me. He can't criticize the most unpopular thing that Obama has done, and which his base hates. Don't blame me. Blame him. He can't even pretend to act like a moderate for the sake of the election.
