They would “radically” curtail gay rights in the military by banning on base gay weddings and uniformed military in pride parades? Yeah that will show them!
How about actually reversing DADT? What about the fact that we now have out of the closet generals? What about actually going beyond DADT and returning to the old policy of no gays in the military?

I hear you. I agree. You said it: They take a mile and we take back half an inch. May it not remain so. Actually, I don’t think it will: Times and cultures change. We won’t forever be in this present era. I think this will be a case of “what happens will only be believed once it has taken place.”
