It's very simple to keep the whole "than/then" thing straight:

Women would rather hug than have sex.

Men would rather hug then have sex.

How would you punctuate that sentence?

I would offer this:

“Woman: without her, man is nothing.”

However, I have seen this:

“Woman, without her man, is nothing.”

Or something like that anyway... :-)
