there were some on the street yesterday asking if I had a minute to support gay “rights” I felt like telling them they had all the same rights the rest of us do and that should be enough but i just walked on by

Usually they will say the right to marry, if they do point out that there are at least 1,500 churches in the US who will perform a wedding ceremony for them.
If you keep talking to them, what the real issue is they want to be recognized as normal (actually they want to be justified/legitimized), it’s never going to happen.
Even in the every so liberal Hollywood crowd, their gay members are treated more like pets than equals.
It seems that the republicans in leadership positions up north are really watered down rats.They are screwy which reflects badly on those that put them there.
