Because the media always backs the most liberal candidate. That’s great for Democrats and bad for Republicans. The absolute zombie-like, mind-numbing responses people gave when asking why they voted for Romney in the primary shows that most primary voters were led around like absolutely ignorant, unthinking sheep.
But it really does come down to the voters themselves, right? Are democrat voters smarter, more individualistic, or are republican voters just sheep that can’t think for themselves?
