That’s a very, very valid point. No, I’m not defending Akin, whose ghastly-sounding comment was a four-alarm level example of political ineptitude. But for the GOP to go ballistic on him, yet be comfortable with this sicko mayor’s pro-perv agenda, is a depressing testament of how far in the sewer the GOP has sunk.
Funny, I used to always watch the GOP conventions, for decades, for the satisfaction of experiencing shared ideologies and a certain almost cultural kinship. That seems to really be shot to hell nowadays. With the GOP now at the point of nominating a Massachusetts liberal, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised it’s come to this.
You know someone has not one iota of faith when they used to profess they were all for NORMAL marriage (you know marriage that God intended) then one of their children comes out of the closet and all the sudden they throw the word of God under the bus and start promoting degenerate sodomite “marriage” to make their kid happy. Any real man of faith would tell their child that they need to get right with the Lord, that they were still their child, but no way in the world do they believe it’s normal for him/her to “marry” their sodomite friend. This mayor, Dick Cheney, or anyone else that claims they think there’s nothing wrong with this demented, abnormal behavior, needs open to open up the Bible and start reading it. A lack of faith is what it’s about and nothing else. Get right with the Lord now before it’s too late!!
Agreed. Abortion-on-demand is just one of the sacrosanct tenets of a pagan lifestyle that we can no longer criticize with impunity. Gay coupling (and "parenting") has become another. And we have the GOP to thank for it--including Mitt Romney.
