Since you brought it up, do you feel police should be subjected to the same gun laws as legitimate law abiding citizens?

I believe they are.

So citizens in NY have same gun rights as do those in government?

Problem is that they screen out those with too high of a score. They don't want independent thinkers; they want those who will blindly follow orders.

LOL -- Thanks beenaround, I needed a laugh... if you think police are held to the same standards as citizens just look int any [state] laws restricting firearms in state buildings, or courthouses.
