COME ON. YOU KNOW women have claimed RAPE after having consensual sex, Or after they became pregnant. This whole issue is about the use of the word LEGITIMATE, because it implies women would LIE. THAT, is the unspoken reality of this. THAT WORD is what is being objected to. Not whether women who are raped can or cannot get pregnant, but on WHETHER WOMEN LIE to COVER UP the reason for a PREGNANCY, and whether they would CRY RAPE so that they can get the government(meaning YOU and ME) to pay for their ABORTION.

Allow me a similar example, guy says Bush changed the bank law so banks could have less then 25% in reserve. At that point, I didn’t know it was probably the Securities Exchange Commission in 2004 that changed the amount of reserve that Investment banks could have that he was talking about, so I couldn’t correct or counter the misinformation this individual has believed and/or was spouting. The point being, he thought and talked as if he was an authority on the subject.

Same logic, only in this example I bet he’s wrong and either is misinformed or has an agenda. Can I accept the next thing this guy says as fact? No.

Your argument is invalid because your position depends on using pregnancy as a litmus test as to whether rape actually occurred. Problem is, there is often corroborating evidence that points to a sexual assault in these instances.

In such a case, you apparently would have predetermined that it wasn't a rape after all. That'll never sell to the non-Taliban crowd.

hey pal! the word “legitimate” isn’t the half of it. Akin claimed that pregnancies from — I don’t care what you call it, “legitimate rape”, “real rape”, “forcible rape”, “rape rape” was REALLY RARE, claiming some GodAwful fact-free quacks had determined that female bodies had ways to “shut it down”. This is IDIOCY, and extremely insulting to rape victims.
