The woman was on the verge of getting married "within days," police said. They would not confirm, however, whether the wedding was to be held Saturday.

Seriously, this reporter needs to go back to Journo school.I hate it when a wedding is held with a wet, dead bride.

Perhaps the story was originally filed in French.Sometimes,what sounds fine in one language doesn't survive translation intact.

Didn’t read article. Did he comment on whether the groom gets to keep the wedding gifts already received? How about a refund of the deposit on the Reception local or at least a 50% refund since half the main attraction is still alive.

Just askin’ is all.

The article merely mentioned that it was unconfirmed that the wedding had been originally scheduled for Saturday.
