The absolute fact that everyone is failing to report in this whole debate is the number of abortions that occur due to rape. Isn’t that what the whole argument is about? whether a woman should be allowed to get an abortion if she gets pregnant after a rape? Shouldn’t we be able to determine from abortion statistics how frequently women get an abortion citing rape as the reason? Look it up. Rape accounts for.5 to1% of all abortions. Rare enough?

Another statistic I saw a few years ago is that the ration of women who were raped and prefer to keep their babies is high. That attitude causes a number of forced abortions as it is the families, boyfriends/etc. who demand that the rape victim abort. The attitude of a fair percentage of the victims is that they must not commit a second evil act to avenge the first.
