The owners of an ammunition supply store in Rancho Cordova are protesting a school district's decision in Shingle Springs to pull down an advertisement for their shop at a local high school. El Dorado Union High School District officials last week ordered a sign on the scoreboard of the Ponderosa High School football stadium promoting the Ammo Depot to be turned around to conceal its content. The store sent officials a letter stating that it might pursue legal action, such as a breach-of-contract complaint.
Brandon Lungren, who attended Ponderosa for two years, and his family run the ammunition store. His older brother and operations manager, Aaron, graduated from the school in 1992. He wrestled and played baseball there. "We were born and raised in this area, and it's very near and dear to us," Brandon Lungren said. Since Ammo Depot opened a year ago, the store has also supported the football programs at Union Mine High School in El Dorado and the Future Farmers of America program at Ponderosa.

We have become a country of wusses. The Greatest Generation must be turning over in their graves.
The local cops probably buy their stuff there.
Lol!

Maybe not a heck of a lot compared to the budget, but is it too much to ask of them to put political correctness aside and give some releif, however small, to the taxpayers? Oh, but if Planned Parenthood, GLAAD, CAIR offered to by ad space.... They may very well face a breach of contract issue, then EVERYBODY loses.
Lol, much pithier!
Damn thtrait!
Welcome to KAHLIFOONIAH people. I have to live here (sigh).
