BOX OFFICE: '2016: Obama's America' Nation's Number One Movie

The anti-Obama movie "2016 Obama’s America" went into wider release around America today and is opening right now in first place at the domestic box office. That’s quite a feat since the Rocky Mountain Pictures political documentary is still playing in only 1,090 North American theaters – or about 1/3 as many theaters as big-budget actioner "The Expendables 2" (3,355 theaters). The Stallone picture from Millenium/Lionsgate is expected to end the weekend #1 and should top the box office tonight....

Both online ticket-sellers Fandango and MovieTickets.com showed advance buying for "2016 Obama’s America" were accounting for 35% to 28% respectively before this weekend.

Finke probably did that because she wanted to make the top headlines on Drudge and get all the hits. #4 at the box office doesn’t cut it for breaking news. To me, it’s hype and spin to say a movie is #1 when only half of Friday’s ticket sales are in, and it’s not even being projected to be #1 for the full day, but that’s just me. It would be cool if it did make #1 for the full Friday though.

The trailers seem to suggest Obama is here to destroy America. They use “downsizing” or such as a euphemism.

I was just saying on here a couple weeks ago that Obama's goal is global economic equality. To do that, the richest country in the world needs to be taken down to the economic level of poorer countries. Most of what Obama does can be seen as working towards the goal of destroying us economically, including racking up the debt. The trailers for this seemed to suggest that what I said is exactly the thesis of this movie, so I was pleased to hear that.

What ever the final number is if the Drudge article gets folks to see the movie - GREAT.....Drudge has to be right up their with RUSH as Obama’s worse nightmare.

Just saw it this evening. It’s excellent.

One factoid I picked up from the movie: Obama’s mother split with Lolo Seotoro after he started hanging out with Western businessmen and joining an anti-communist political group. That was the wedge. It was too much for her leftist sensibilities.

Besides being well thought out and well written and putting forth a credible explanation of what drives Obama, it’s also a great looking movie. Whoever shot it and edited it did a beautiful job.

We saw it 2 days ago. It is excellent! Very well done but most of the stuff freepers already know. It gives obama’s world view and where he wants America to go. No more super power, no more best place in the world to be, he wants us to be just like every other country in the world. Equality with the turd world!
