Amen. I understand the frustration of Akin’s defenders. Yes, life is unfair. Yes, there is a double standard. Yes, sometimes the punishment depends upon WHEN in an election cycle that a mistake or worse is made.
The bottom line is that none of that will be fixed by November 6.
Akin is a guaranteed Senate loss and we need every seat.
