The hill.com is saying that Akin is dropping out and the Republican party has agreed to pay to go court and get him replaced on the ballot.

Well now they just changed the story to say that he is holding a press conferance to say he rejected the deal with the Republican party and is staying in. What an idiot...

Probably a stupid question, but could the GOP actually expel him from the Party?

So he’s holding a presser to say he’s still in...he should fire his Press Sec.

Of course that would reduce his staff to just him and his wife and he’d be firing his son.

On one level I’m disgusted because it hurts to polls...on the other hand I can’t help but watch this slow motion car wreck with a little bit of child like amazement.

Why hold another presser if he is staying in? He already said he was staying in. I just wish he would shut the hell up at this point. He has already lost the seat!! We should just ignore him and his delusions at this point.
