I thought it was a great comment. You can always judge how effective a comment or a political decision is by the reaction of the leftist media. The best reaction from the left so far was the Paul Ryan VP choice.

We’ll need to revisit this article after Trump pulls a shocker at the convention. Oh wait.. Nothing is shocking anymore because part of 0bama’s goal has been to desensitize America to impeachable offenses or anything immoral, unethical or flat-out unacceptable.
To: RobinMasters
Why is this such a sensitive subject for the Obamunuists?
He keeps showing us forgery after forgery and yet we are not allowed to take a potshots at him about it?
Are his Bona fides sacred texts to only be seen by the high priests?

This is precisely how to handle the Obama birth certificate “question.” You make light of it, step back, and watch the Obama handlers come unglued. It will make those unfamiliar or skeptical about the issue sit-up and take notice. Who exactly is hiding something here?

If Romney really wants to win this election....he should use more “Birther” facts....listening to the Anti-Birther PhonyCons is a sure loser. Anti-Birthers pretty much left Romney hanging for a few weeks withe the “tax forms release” nonsense...which would have been stopped had the campaign just asked for Obama’s real birth certificate
The Birther issue is a sure winner...and too many PhonyCons are helping Obama by attacking it

Guess what the libs aren’t talking about anymore?
The best analogy I can come up with is when an attacking army in on an offensive charge, they leave themselves vulnerable to a counter attack on their flank at a point they weren’t expecting.
That is what this was. It left them with this hanging in the air all weekend, waiting for another hit.
To: RobinMasters
Joke or not, I think Romney was indirectly telling Obama, “ ok, so your going after my Tax records ? ok then, we will go after your records and your supposed birth certificate “

Gov.George Romney, Mitt Romney's father, was born in Mexico of U.S.citizen parents who repatriated to the U.S. when George was 7-years old.
George, who attempted a run for the Republican presidential candidacy in 1964, pulled out of the running when questions over his natural born Citizenship eligibility came to the fore.
Gov. Mitt Romney, Speaker Newt Gingrich and Rep.Ron Paul all provided proof of Article II eligibility for the office of President. All three provided proof of NBC status.
Anyone who believes Romney cares nothing about natural born Citizen eligibility doesn't know the Romney family history.

" No, birthers: I have the severest doubts that Mitt Romney was endorsing birtherism, nor that he plans to desperately take up the theory as part of his campaign platform as we wend our way to November. Its far too divisive an issue, and as much as the Left would no doubt like everyone to believe, its not like the majority of the conservative base is exactly jiggy with it. "
No, Romney does not have to talk anymore about it, let the chips fall where they may.
Let the people talk about it, let Donald Trump talk about it.

Here's a funny paragraph about this same thing from
Noonan's WSJ article today (is there hope for her yet?) ...
Third, President Obama can't stand to be made fun of. His pride won't allow it, his amour-propre cannot countenance a joke at his own expense. If Mr. Romney lands a few very funny lines about the president's leadership, Mr. Obama will freak out. That would be fun, wouldn't it?

Mitt's comment only shows that he may understand that that in spite of declaring himself to be a naturalized citizen, the media and both parties were afraid to face the reality of Obama’s ineligibility, since the framers and founders told us natural born citizenship was a requirement for presidency. The issue may come up during Mitt's presidency; he suggests that he won't lie or ignore it if somehow the court stops blocking discovery. It has nothing to do with birth certificates. Mitt knows the Constitution doesn't include definitions, and has probably at least heard of the thirty or so Supreme Court cases that confirmed the definition so clearly explained by Chief Justice Marshall in The Venus, “born on the soil to citizen parents”, or the precedent-making case written by Chief Justice Morrison Waite, Minor v. Happersett. Remember, Barack told us all he was a naturalized citizen, never once claiming to be a natural-born citizen. Without an amendment to the Constitution, or a court willing to repudiate precedent, and refute the understand repeated by Marshall, Waite, Hughes, Washington, Jay, Hamilton, Paine, Franklin, 14th Amendment Author John Bingham, and Wong Kim Ark justice Gray, Barack is not a legitimate officeholder.
Remember, every US senator signed the Clare McCaskill/Pat Leahy/Barack Obama Resolution 511, April 30 2008, which Senate Judiciary hearing, based upon the testimony of Judge Michael Chertoff, and Barack’s Constitutional Law professor Larry Tribe: My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen, Chertoff replied. That is mine, too, said Leahy. Barack, the global citizen, and naturalized citizen, "A native-born citizen of the US", meaning naturalized and not natural born, was born to an alien father, in direct contravention of The Constitution.

jiggy |ˈjigē| adjective 1 uninhibited, esp. in a sexual manner: 2 trembling or nervous, esp. as the result of drug withdrawal. ....... Hmmm, I've never used that word and I don't know that I have ever heard of it before today. The sound of the word makes me think of Gilligan, but I don't know why he would have used it. I am going text my wife and tell her that I am feeling jiggy and ask her to try to come home early. My goodness, what a cool word, I don't think I've ever felt this jiggy.
