Well, at the RNC CON taking place next week both Sheriff Joe and The Donald will be present. Plenty of opportunity to bring up “birther stuff”.

WASHINGTON, May 1 (UPI) — President Obama’s birth certificate took center stage during his appearance Saturday night at the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington.
He was introduced with the song “Real American” with shots of the certificate cut into a South Park-style montage, Politico reported. The president also said he really wanted to put the issue of his birth to rest — and showed a brief clip from the Disney cartoon “The Lion King.”
Obama also took aim at Donald Trump, who has become of the country’s best-known “birthers” in the past few weeks and a possible Republican candidate for president next year.
“Now, I know that he’s taken some flak lately, but no one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than The Donald,” Obama said. “And that’s because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter, like, ‘Did we fake the moon landing?’ ‘What really happened on Roswell?’ And ‘Where are Biggie and Tupac?’”
Obama also took aim at Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., saying he missed the dinner because his proposed budget has “no room for laughter.” And he dismissed actor Matt Damon’s criticisms of his job performance by remarking he has seen “The Adjustment Bureau.”

Sorry, Romney is way too smart to fall into that Democrat trap. It’s great that we have a candidate willing to go into attack mode (even when it’s good natured like this birth certificate joke) unlike McCain in 2008.

You’d be better served if you ACTUALLY LISTENED to that portion of his speech before going off in attack mode. He was talking about where he and his wife Ann were born in Michigan. Nothing “royal” about that “we”—the whole speech was very well received by his Michigan audience.
It sure looked calculated. I love how it’s working too, spit is flying amongst libs I know.

I don’t have any links but heard Obama’s Pressers were already out denying this and saying it was a low blow. If that is correct, Romney just scored “big time” as he never mentioned Obama or the Birther Issue.Obama must be in a lather over this. How many packs is he smoking a day?

Sends Dems into a sputtering fury.
Knocks Akin out of the weekend news cycle.
Creates the impression that more is to follow.
Insinuates without accusing, creating deniability.
Possibly incites an overreaction by Dems and their supporters, including the really unhinged ones.
