I think Romney will still carry Missouri, no matter what happens with Akin. The greater problems are these: a) losing the Senate seat to McCaskill; b) losing a Senate majority as a result; and c) the radioactive fallout across the nation, giving ammo to the Dems’ “War on Women” crap, and possibly costing us other races.

If we lose the Senate and Harry Reid keeps his power appealing ObamaCare is out the window and it’s out there for good.

Unlikely. Todd Akin has done more to bolster the DNC in one flaming stupid moment than Obama or Biden has been able to do for themselves in the last month and as long as he's in he will continue to do so.

I think McCain only won by 4000 votes (maybe 6000). Not sure of that number.

It's almost time to write off Missouri for not only the Senate seat but for the White House.

We can still hope for the best but we need to find a replacement state. I think it may be over for Missouri (as long as Akin stays in).

The longer he stays in the more irreversible damage he does even if he were replaced.

He should have been out days ago.

It's unfortunate but I live in RealVille.
