Yes, too many are indeed that dumb; but others, particular suburban women, do NOT want to associate with a party that has such kooks in it. They just don't want to hear crap from Akin, and if voting Democratic makes it go away, then so be it.

Misguided, of course, but it is REALITY.

We are not going to change REALITY in 10 weeks.

By mid-september Akin is going to be a household word. Akin is the greatest gift that Obama and every senate Democratic candidate have going. The Akin fallout will not be contained to Missouri.
