Frankly, WM, I am disappointed that you have chosen to join the ranks of the cowards who fear McCaskell more than God. Akin can win, and if he can’t then it is God’s will for an unfaithful Missouri and an unfaithful USA.

I will back Akin to the end. His positions on the issues mirror my own. If he steps down the GOP/e will install an Olympia Snowe clone to try to stop the bleeding. Political Correctness will have carried the day and God’s judgment will be one day closer.
If that's what it takes to get the 50th vote in the Senate and a R&R victory I hope they do it. obamacare is the nuclear bomb.

Cortisol levels and very early pregnancy loss in humans
Maternal stress is commonly cited as an important risk factor for spontaneous abortion. For humans, however, there is little physiological evidence linking miscarriage to stress. We examined the association between miscarriage and levels of maternal urinary cortisol during the first 3 weeks after conception. Pregnancies characterized by increased maternal cortisol during this period (within participant analyses) were more likely to result in spontaneous abortion (P < 0.05). This evidence links increased levels in this stress marker with a higher risk of early pregnancy loss in humans.

Wm, Obamacare is not going to be repealed. Romney has never once said that he will repeal Obamacare, but has always said that his intention is to “repeal AND REPLACE” it.

So if you would prefer a n Olympia Snowe clone to a conservative who might lose but might win, then you are not only going to lose the socialized medicine war, but also the war to preserve life.

Cortisol has many functions. It helps the body use sugar (glucose) and fat for energy (metabolism), and it helps the body manage stress. Cortisol levels can be affected by many conditions, such as physical or emotional stress, strenuous activity, infection, or injury.
Normally, cortisol levels rise during the early morning hours and are highest about 7 a.m. They drop very low in the evening and during the early phase of sleep. But if you sleep during the day and are up at night, this pattern may be reversed. If you do not have this daily change (diurnal rhythm) in cortisol levels, you may have overactive adrenal glands.

I haven’t been here more than 2 years, but I must agree with you. I’m appalled lately at the FReepers willing to sacrifice unborn children to worship at the altar of “fiscal conservatism”, whatever the hell that is. And the number of people who bash, literally BASH anyone who has any negative comment about Romney. That guy, ideologically, is almost identical to Obama. I remember just a few short months ago when this place was No Romney, No Way. What the hell has happened??

This seems to be whats replaced serious political/religious discussion, rewrite what the poster has posted with a strawman attached. Get back to me when you want a serious discussion.

Maybe it's not the forum's problem but the posters. If posters want to stand on the beaches of Dunkirk while the ships are leaving with the troops that will be able to continue the fight that is their choice. It doesn't mean that the troops on the ships are any less dedicated to winning the war. It just shows which group is thinking about the bigger picture.
I don't think anyone is over joyed with Romney, but he's all we've got at this point and if we have a solid conservative group in the House and Senate I believe some good will be accomplished, including the repeal of obamacare.
The rear guard holds a place of honor as it is an act of sacrifice.

The fact of the matter is that Romney has never once indicated that he would repeal Obamacare unless he actually replaces it. I haven't seen his 2300 page proposal to replace it as of yet, have you?

That’s about as dead as it gets. Ask someone who knows something about how elections really work. The fools in this conversation are the ones who believe that Akin can right the ship. Please refer to 2010 Senate results in Nevada, Connecticut, Colorado, Minnesota. Why are you so determined to help McCaskill get reelected?
Akin won the primary in large part because of McCaskill’s advertising accusing him of being the biggest conservative in the race. Voters who had no idea who he was, voted for him because they believed him to be the most conservative candidate - McCaskill’s ads had convinced them. Why did she run those ads? Because she knew that he was the only Republican candidate that she could possibly beat. She’s evil, but she ain’t dumb.
The two candidates endorsed by the major right to life groups, Steelman and Brunner, are still available. Pick one. They can run if Akin drops out. Get over the emotional attachment to a loser. Akin did this to himself.
