Barack Obama has always been known for his silken words, soaring rhetoric and ability to use language to his advantage.
Lately, however, the president seems to be losing command of the details. In a speech at a fundraiser in New York on Wednesday night, he took aim at Todd Akin, the political punch bag du jour on both sides of the political aisle.

He hasn’t enough respect for the Military to bother to find out the proper designation. But doesn’t he just LOVE to take credit when they work their magic while he is CiC!

Interesting article especially considering the big scar on Obama’s head.
At least he didn’t say ‘corpse-man’ this time.
It is now unrefuted. .obama did not order the killing bin laden with clear opportunities three times, listening to a witless female, Valerie Jarret. FINALLY Leon Panetta just DID IT!! He took it away from the the islamic bastard and ordered the killing of the sorry murderer of 3000 AMERICANS. It is an absolute fact. obama gets no credit in history. Panetta is a HERO!!!Thank you LEON!!Thank YOU!!
How come your excerpt has nothing to do with the headline?
Hey Daily Mail, care to validate that first sentence with some concrete EXAMPLES???/s;)
*President’s latest slip-up was calling Admiral William McRaven a general
*Comes days after he and Ohio State University students spelled Ohio ‘O-I-H-O’
I took headline and first paragraph. Follow link.

I think it was PR before - they just kept saying how well he spoke. Now that he is a known failure, the same talking heads are insisting even more vehemently that he USED to be able to speak well in order to conceal their duplicity in his election.
He didn’t make that mistake. Others made it happen. In particular, all those people who write what appears on his teleprompter. Obama couldn’t have made that mistake without them.
I’d advise that you talk to General McRaven, who’s in charge of our Special Ops. I think he has a point of view in terms of how deeply
I care about what these folks do each and every day to protect our freedom.
The difficulty with this is that William McRaven is and admiral not a general.
As a SEAL, he is member of the US Navy, not US Army or US Marines.
Obama has made mistakes with military terminology before. In February 2010, he mispronounced corpsman as corpse-man instead of core-man several times.
Last year, he mixed up two Medal of Honor recipients, saying that Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honour to who actually came back and wasnt receiving it posthumously.
There are Marines in the SEALs.

Insert Reuters’ TOTUS pic here.
U.S. Navy SEALs are an elite unit, more exclusive and harder to be admitted to than the U.S. Marines.
The United States Marine Corps (also known as USMC or Marines) is one of the 5 branches of the U.S. military under the Department of Defense. It was created in 1775 as a special service. Although it is part of the U.S. Navy, it has its own special structure. Navy SEALs on the other hand are the U.S. Navy’s main special operations force. They’re part of the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) and are the maritime component of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). “SEAL” is derived from their capacity to operate at SEa, in the Air, and on Land but it’s their ability to work underwater that separates SEALs from most other military units in the world.
Tell that to the Navy "corpse-men"
