A Hopewell circuit court judge has ordered that a Marine veteran detained over anti-government Facebook posts be released from a psychiatric hospital. CBS 6 News’ Catie Beck said the Judge Allan Sharrett dismissed the case Thursday against Brandon Raub. The judge said the original petition for Raub’s detention contained no facts. In other words, there was no information on why Raub was being held — and the judge deemed this violated his civil liberties. As a result, the judge ruled the government had no grounds to hold Raub. Beck said the judge is in the process of writing an order for Raub’s release. He is has been released from the hospital in Salem, Virginia Thursday afternoon and is headed home to Chesterfield. The decorated U.S. Marine veteran was questioned by FBI agents about his Facebook postings and then hauled away from his Chesterfield County home in handcuffs last Thursday.

My wonderment is what is in the minds of those that took him away. Have the populace of the USA become such robots that there is no longer any personal realization of political and traditional good or bad? I often muse as to whether or not some Obamanite would/could come and try to hustle me off to somewhere. I am no more likely to go than as a soldier in WWII I would have let a Jap lay a hand on me.

This guy Raub, is an American, yet the hype is is a former Marine.
A statement true in fact, great, so am I.
He is an American that was kidnapped by the authorities, and placed in a mental institution
(Seems like there should be a disembodied voice with a heavy Slavic accent saying "Committee for State Security" you have been deemed to be a danger to yourself or others and need to come with us).
That should be the story, the fact that he is a prior Marine is not the story... the story is he was kidnapped by the authorities and he is an American Citizen.
PS In my view, a truther nut is far beyond crazier that a run of the mill disturbed person, closer to a schizophrenic or sociopath.

I can see why so many people thought this veteran was a nutjob in need of observation, re-education, thought cleansing, waterboarding, and possibly chemical combined shock treatments.
Because he has a contagious disease at his disposal that could affect millions of people.

America is indeed facing a communist takeover from within, and the communist have had of half a century to make plans and install the right people in the highest offices.
Its people like this the communists fear, the ones willing to fight for liberty.
To those that are of the groups searching for others like this veteran, I will say this, be very very aware, if you see me I saw you ahead of time.
I would not put it past any agency to immediately modify postings to include 9/11 truther conspiracies, OK city third bomber sightings and such, I frankly take it all with a grain of salt because the enemy has the power and the tools to denigrate whoever they want.

Van Jones and Ralph Nader weren’t locked away for their “Truther” beliefs so we can assume the insider job malarkey wasn’t what they locked him up for. Now the rest of the rant, the pro-American part must have done him in.
That is the only logical conclusion. By not acting against the open threats voiced by the NBPP and NOI, I’d guess their views were indorsed. Hell, we all know which direction this once great country is going.

Eliot Spitzer, the guy who allowed the story to spin out of control ~ just two years later was part of a sex for hire case himself. Four years later Ashley Dupré finally announced she was getting married.
Some cops still believe the four guys theory ~ Eliot probably thinks Ashley still loves him. Some lawyers still dream of getting a case like this one ~ the payout for them was on the order of $2 million.
The lyrics to rap songs part drew their attention. The cops simply didn’t have any idea of what that was about. Apparently the guy’s lawyers did. He’s out. They are all in big trouble.
