Just thought a little bit ago about the major battle we won as conservatives oh so long ago. Jack Danforth defended a colleague and friend 20 years ago against a Democrat juggernaut. That man was Clarence Thomas and as I remember the Repubs gave their all defending him. It paid off and was a victory for us. GHWB, the President even stood firm. Mitt, Reince, Scott Brown and the others pooped in the nest. I am not excusing the Aiken comment but it could be a sign of things to come from the E.
But, the "good" people as a group keeping voting for evil men like Romney. Then, they end up shocked when the Republican party lead by men like Romney move the country to the left.
Sadly, I don't see an end the mentality or any hope for the nation as a result.
