I bought a brand new '96 Chevy Cavalier--and it was an unsafe POS. The clutch kept going out. After the fourth time in 2 years--and getting nothing but a run-around from Chevy's "customer disservice" department--I bought a Toyota.
I vowed that GM would never get another penny from me. And now the federal government makes me give money to GM and its Union masters.
You will need a loaded gun to get me out of my Toyota.
Also in Michigan, Delaware, and Europe.
btw the former Saturn plant in Tenn is building GM engines and the tooling is going in for the new Equinox.
I just bought a ‘13 Mustang. Mid life crises and all.
I know voters who truly believe the GM bail out is a huge success story.
I will NOT mention this to my husband. He, too, is having one and wants a Mustang, too. LOL
He/We bought a Ford Focus hatchback for the gas mileage. He goes back to Michigan every year.
The “high rollers” fiddle while “Rome Burns” — there is the problem. You hear very little about the time Hughes became involved with GM — what is the status of that? Does the Hughes corporation own GM or are they partial owners?
