Wrong, onyx. Romney and the GOP know they're guaranteed her voters no matter what those voters swear, vow, and declare. The GOP-E knows most of those vows are empty. As FR has confirmed.
Come 2013, the only thing that will matter is what you voted for. There's no voting "against" -- and about a gazlilllion pathetically hopeful and scared gutless Republicans and conservatives are going to learn it harder than they ever have before.
No matter what you hope or threaten or expect to do once he's in there, Romney will consolidate power in moderate Republicans and Democrats. If he gets a landslide, he'll have a Flagship Republican "popular mandate." And he'll do exactly what he has always done: advance liberalism and squelch conservatism -- with YOUR PERMISSION.
A popular landside would be hailed as "an electrifying cultural validation of Romney's progressive brand of 'Republican.'" You had better pray that the bastard only gets a plurality.
Romney is going to cost too much -- see my tagline. He already has cost Free Republic, the last stand -- so much for "hold fast." Eternal Vigilance has pointed out that Romney has been able to make more Republicans abandon more principles in two weeks than Obama could ever even hope in a lifetime to achieve. EV has eyes to see.

As you know, I’m not on board with Romney. Not yet anyway, and it’s almost entirely possible he’ll not get my vote. After all, he “won’ his primary without my vote, so I think he can win election without my vote too.
I’m not bitter about the nasty primary. I just don’t like or trust Romney, but God forgive me, I “hate” Obama and know he will destroy America if he’s reelected.
