Yeah, we ain't citizens anymore. We're lowly, groveling freakin' "customers" of the magnificent and benevolent GOVERNMENT. Be nice to the bureaucrats or they won't give your handout.

Down in Obama's heart, as is the case with all Marxists, government does't derive it's power from the consent of the governed. It is the power that all must kneel before, begging for any crumbs it chooses to brush off to you.
