Scott Brown should be thankful for his job and shut up. If he is for abortion then he is on the wrong team and should hit the door!
Yes, because having a Republican who will vote to confirm your SC nominees who would happen to be pro-life vs having a Democrat that will support every form of abortion, retroactively if they could get away with it, is so much better.
It’ll be good to feel smug and righteous having about 30 votes in the Senate, completely powerless and unable to stop anything the Democrats do of course, but smug and righteous.
Fact is, Republicans need every senate vote they can get, especially after that debacle in Missouri. Romney may have to replace a couple Supreme Court justices, that’s a hell of a lot harder to do with a Senate controlled by Dingy Harry and that’s really the only chance of abortion ever getting overturned in the first place is through the SC.
